Definition of artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence is a machine's ability to reproduce human cognitive behaviours: understanding, learning, reasoning, deciding. No magic — mathematics and data.

How does it work?

An AI is trained on billions of data points (texts, images, code). It detects complex statistical patterns and learns to predict the best possible response to a question. This is what's called Machine Learning.

How was it created?
